AIS to support annual West Coast Hake Fishery surveys

On May 12^th AIS was awarded a new task order through our ProTech contract with NOAA Fisheries to support to the NMFS Northwest Fisheries Science Center’s research station in Newport, OR. This task order requires one full time fishery biologist to work with the Fisheries Engineering and Acoustic Technologies (FEAT) team.  AIS will assist with the annual West Coast Hake Fishery surveys.  The work is a combination of laboratory support and sea going field work on the R/V Bell M. Shimada.  Work is scheduled to begin June 1^st
