FISHERIES
We have supported NOAA Fisheries and their regional observer programs since 1999. Our fisheries observers and at-sea monitors work in coastal communities throughout the United States. They deploy on commercial fishing vessels to safely collect and deliver high quality fisheries data and samples to NOAA Fisheries.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND TECHNICAL SERVICES
AIS provides our customers with the pragmatic science and environmental intelligence they need to maintain decision superiority. Through ecosystem studies, information services, and impact analyses, we incorporate the entire ecosystem, including humans, into resource management decisions, giving our oceans the greatest chance to adapt and thrive. By leveraging the expertise of our multidisciplinary team, we deliver comprehensive scientific research and technical services that address the complex challenges facing our natural world. Our commitment to excellence and collaboration allows us to support federal agencies in achieving their mission-critical objectives while promoting the health and resilience of ecosystems worldwide.
ELECTRONIC MONITORING
We promote Electronic Monitoring (EM) as an alternative approach to onboard fishery observer or monitor data collection when safety, limited deck space, costs, and remote deployment locations hinder traditional observer programs. We utilize state-of-the-art EM systems to capture video of vessel fishing activities and position logs. These images are reviewed by our trained technicians who numerate retained and discarded catch, and document protected species interactions. EM complements data from traditional observer programs while decreasing monitoring costs and mitigating risks at-sea. We offer efficient and cost-effective fisheries EM solutions globally. Our services include one-stop shopping for hardware/software installation, planning, implementation, video/data review, and comprehensive reporting.
