AIS is pleased to announce a task order award under our NOAA ProTech Fisheries Domain Contract. Under this task order AIS will provide contractor support to the NMFS Milford Laboratory under the Aquaculture System and Ecology Branch (ASEB) and the Aquaculture Sustainability Branch (ASB) of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC). The Milford Lab is a world-wide leader in aquaculture science and features many state-of-the-art facilities such as a shellfish hatchery, algal greenhouse, ocean acidification experimental systems, and the NOAA Research Vessel Victor Loosanoff. AIS will provide and manage qualified and experienced full and part-time staff to support operations in Milford, CT. This task order will expand AIS’s diverse offerings of marine science related services by providing specialists in microbiology, chemistry, vessel support, and outreach. We are excited to begin a productive relationship with the Milford Lab.
